So, David you got me thinking...
Do you laugh when you watch that scene?
Kinski for some reason always makes me laugh...I think it was his intensity combined with the insanity of the situation. Plus there are all those little monkeys running all over the raft. If I remember he picks one up and stares into it's face and then tosses it aside.
For anyone who hasn't seen this flick it's a great double bill with Apocalypse Now. Rivers, madmen, jungle...hey you know it came out a couple years before Apocalypse...wonder if Mr. Coppola had seen it...
