Icon Rice Testimony...and why things will never change..

Well, we have now seen another brilliant performance of deflection and a brilliant tactic of running out the clock by the running of one's mouth in the relentless regurgitation of babble.

On one hand she blathers on about how much the Shurb admin did in regards to terrorism and how little the Clinton did, while on the other hand refuses to take any responsiblity at all.

Then, as one of the panelists did, all of the past attacks were marched out and then the fragments of intel were provided (satellite chatter, memos, informant info, airline practice info all sorts of thing) and she has the gall to say it was impossible to see 9/11 was coming!  What a crock of shit.

Lastly, I think the one who actually did the most damage to her was Lehman when he ran down his laundry list of all the things she didn't know.  When he went down his list and asked her if she knew this or that and she replied "no" to all of them, it made me think, "This is the main person for advising the President of the United States America on National Security issues and she didn't know about all of these things?!?!"

Finally, (I know I said lastly above) her is why things will never change:  Egos...bureaucrats and politicians and lack of responsiblity.  Is there anyone out there that does not believe the adminstrators of the FBI, CIA and other intelligence agencies should not have been fired for this?

Working in a governmental body myself, government runs by placing the most inept adminstrators in their positions because they simply cannot do the day to day job.  So if people want change, all of these systems have to be turned upside down.  Those who can do the job, need to be put in charge of getting it done.

We have a little saying in my occupation in regards to adminstrative street line experience - They have 20, 25 or 30 years of one year of experience.  Think about what that means and how profound it is.

I'm sick, excuse me while I go puke....
