Okay, now do not take this as an attack on DB's music. 

I was driving this morning and had the car radio on (no ipod for me....) and some 80's pop song came on.  The start was familiar but I couldn't place it.  Then I paid attention to how "manufactured" it sounded.  Like someone with computers put it together and it made me wonder,  "on a whole, did 80's music blow more than music from the 70's"?

Sure, in both decades we had bright and blight spots, but it made me wonder if music from the 80's might have blown more.  For example, I think in the 80's the commerce of music hit like never before.  Videos came along and the next thing you know, it really seemed to become more about business than that of art.
