...if President Bush had done nothing in Iraq and a year or two from now a terrorist plan unfolded in our country similar to the events of 9/11.  It would be determined that the terrorists were trained and funded by Saddam.  There's nothing far fetched about what I'm proposing.  I'm certain that the liberals would be all over Bush for not doing enough to protect the homeland.  Wouldn't you agree? 

Or, what if Bush had gone into Afghanistan before 9/11 and wiped out the Taliban and had killed Osama.  What would the reaction have been from those on the left?  They would have been up in arms.  Wouldn't you agree?

It was disappointing watching the Presidential news conference the other night.  I kept thinking about the paid for paperboys who keep the public blind.  They were more concerned with trying to provide sKerry with a sound bite to use against Bush in the Fall than anything else...please Mr. President...won't you please apologize so we can get it on tape for later? 

It's just a hunch but I think the left is very close to overplaying their hand and this could all become so much backlash for them.  I hope I'm right.
