friend of mine just got back from Kurdish Iraq by way of Istanbul. drank Chateauneuf-du-Pape with Kurdish prime minister and had fine meals (your tax dollars at work). Ex-military guy who has problems with this administration but still thinks we're ahead. I'd like to think it's all as clear cut in the Kerry/db/liberal sense ...but don't bet on it yet. We're a minority and not as vocal as we could/should be. Self-satisfaction and/or complacency are quicksand.
