Well folks, based upon news events of recent it appears that the Bush/Kerry gap is widening in favor of GWB. Every picture I see of John Kerry, he is raising his index finger protesting this and that about how terrible the current administration has handled things, while it seems to me his rhetoric is being carried off into the wind, while his feet are slowly sinking in quicksand. He shall drown probably in the near future, and well in advance of November; his plans for increasing taxes and government spending, with him. He seems to have a great personality, is athletic and intelligent, but I'm not sure I'd want him for president. He has not said anything which impresses me otherwise, since his sweep of the primaries.
Realistically, the Bush administration will hold onto the reigns, and we will continue to escalate military committment in Iraq. I am not thrilled about this prospect, but that is the way things appear to me at present. What worries me even more is the prospect of the draft (which based upon military needs in Iraq..also seems imminent), and will affect us all, especially those with sons and daughters of "eligible" age.
