I've had the Jem Finally Woken CD for a week or two now and like it a great deal.

Just ordered the Sam Beam cd, The Innocence Mission's Small Planes, Joe Henry's Tiny Voices, Matthew Ryan's Regret Over the Wires and Jim Croce's DVD. 

Paste Magazine and its compilation CD is bankrupting me.

On a sad note, The Oxford American has ceased publication.  Each year around the summer time, it would include a compilation cd of southern music.  I looked forward to that each year.
