I've been confined to a chair for nearly 7 yrs. I'm quadriplegic,and in these years I've experienced wonderful acts of kindness and assistance from a great many people, I've also experienced the exact opposite. People have literally pulled their kids to the other side of sidewalks or mall walkways, people have stood in front of be in elevator lines when stairs were adjacent,or very close by. The staring no longer affects me,but the reactions still make me shake my head. It isn't the lifestyle I anticipated, but it is now and it can be very difficult

I've often thought about this topic,not morbidly but living with a spinal cord injury can get the grey matter going in odd patterns.So here we go, 1.-In My Life-The Beatles 2.-God Only Knows-The Beach Boys 3.-Peace In The Valley-Elvis Presley

Then, I'd have everyone sing a-long to The Weight by The Band as it's one of my absolute fave songs,and at family functions when a cousin and I get drunk enough we belt it out,and have for years.
