Glad to hear you only go online when you are on the clock, Jason. I figured you had thrown yourself into such a tizzy fit over bad calls against JoPa that you broke your computer and hadn't yet picked up enough extra gigs directing traffic to buy a new one.

So I think I'm God? Wow - didn't think that would come through on a message board. God is everything and is everywhere, so we are all God. Even the pigfuckers pepper spraying crowds are divine.

But I'm never wrong? How can that be - I used to be in favor of the death penalty!  And let's not ever forget it was I that first put A Fine Mess on eBay.

Since you dismiss any sort of academic research or statistics, I'm not going to bother citing the basis for my statements on the cost of applying the death penalty. I do know that the costs cited were not arrived at by simply lumping the total annual salaries of all the professionals involved in the appeals process. I also know that according to your retort, those same individuals would accomplish just as much in a working day whether they had to listen to a death row appeal or not. Sure. Whatever.

Now since you are so concerned about my lack of feelings, let me expound. Thousands of people are the victims of heinous crimes every year in the US alone. Each one of them has opinions and beliefs on what is needed to make the pain go away or what is to blame for their suffering. Virtually everything you see on TV or hear on the radio or read in the press undoubtedly greatly upsets somebody - reminds someone of the pain that they are suffering or appears to be rewarding someone or something alleged to be responsible. Does that mean it matters what their opinion is of some show on cable?

See if you can follow this scenario: Some victims blame law enforcement officials for not doing more to avert their loss. I could find such a person, then jam a camera in their face and ask them what they think of the officer that botched their case appearing on Cops. Bet they'd be real upset that such a person is gaining notoriety. Should you care? Would you allow them to approve of Fox's prime time schedule?

Now take another look at what I wrote -- "I don't care what the parents of these kids might think about the show - they don't have special rights to approve or disapprove of what goes on the television. I am sorry for their loss".

I get pissed whenever I see a Ford commercial where they are bragging about their proud heritage. I remember the support Henry gave to fascists in general and Hitler in particular before WWII. Since I am of Jewish descent and lost family in the Holocaust, I am a victim. Do I have the right to demand that a network refuse their advertising dollars? Hell no.
