WHAT? I can't HEAR you!

Just kiddin'.  We had front row seats and were below the mains so the level wasn't too bad.  The pyrotechnics were the most damaging so I was happy to have plugs in my head, although the kids around me made fun of me...

The show was in the round.  They hit the highlights of their catalog.  Their interaction with the crowd was top notch and I particularly enjoyed Robert Trujillo (?), the bassist they traded for Jason Newstead.   A full show, three encores and a revolving stage really made for an interesting evening.

I think the most entertaining part of the show was Lars Ulrich's face.  It was as if his body was independent of his head as he played each song with a great deal of fury, while mugging for the crowd, singing, talking, laughing...each band member was a bit of a showman.  And they seemed generally enthused to be working for us.

So...it was a great deal of fun,

PRH
