Been listening to The Youngbloods "Elephant Mountain" lately. Recorded in 1969, it's a record that when I hear it I think...this could have been a big influence on a band like Wilco.
For some reason I'm listening to more old stuff these days when it comes to rock records.
Some of you guys might be familiar with "Darkness, Darkness", the Jesse Colin Young tune...Robert Plant did a cover of it on his last record.
