the SF Chronicle ran this article the other day, and i...agreed with its premises. yes, that's what this world is coming to, i'm agreeing with Pat freakin' Buchanan. war makes strange bedfellows, i suppose; i mean, look at me, i've recently taken a job with Halliburton (okay, that's a joke, file under 'lame')...but aside from Buchanan's extreme social conservatism, he's quite the populist on a few issues. i sometimes have to think that he rails against the institutional right cause they wouldn't let him play on their team, but any influential voice of protest against the Bu$hco's madness is welcome in this troubling era of the diminishing America. Freidman ripped the crap out of 'em today, too, definitely worth a read.
