i thought about some of those organizations...i'm sure there are people none too pleased with the Red Cross for their reporting of abuses in Abu Ghraib...Boy Scouts were considered and rejected for obvious reasons. it's just hard to find organizations worthy of anything more than occasional faith, really...

i guess i just felt like i had to rant a bit, and then i tossed in the spherical/third way concept to see if it struck any chords. i dunno, much as we'd like to believe that 'them other bastards'll see the light and wake up someday!', i'm not so sure that that's The Plan - if there is one for us. evolution to common understanding and tolerance and all sounds real purty, but i have no idea as to its possibility. it's certainly in doubt at this moment in time for us, but i contnue to suspect that having different beliefs and learning to coexist respectfully & peacefully within them is our great challenge, as far as being ants on a marble goes and all. balancing the yin-yang, becoming one with our duality, that sort of thing. sounds like a contradiction in terms, sure, but so do Log Cabin Republicans, and they certainly exist.

i just wish we'd hurry it up. hasn't been a major asteroid strike in 60 million years, and i'm afraid we're a bit due. might serve us right, anyway.

the giving more than you think you should have to give was a quote i read from some random guy on the Palestinian street. it rang true to me.

however, the stuff about Mick is mine, and i stand by it.
