On this day where we thank those who have given all for us, this is a good book to read. It is one of the best books I have ever read about the Vietnam War.
In contrast, I believe the possession of Saddam's gun in the hands of GWB says a great deal about his character, especially when he pulls it out to show off to people. If GWB had any honor, he would give that gun to the unit that located Hussein and let them put it on display in their military museum. This man and his VP are nothing more than chickenshits. Every time I see that man swagger across the tv screen like some idiotic gunslinging cowboy I want to vomit, especially when he jumped ahead of almost 500 other unfortunate sons to get into his Champagne Unit to avoid combat duty (if he had wanted combat duty he would not have checked that box saying "no" to overseas duty).
So taking possession of such an item only shows this craven coward's true nature. He again benefits from other peoples' sacrifices.
