Well, before reading your post I thought, "Well, any vote against Bush is great", but you took that out of the mix, so here goes....

For one thing, I don't think Kerry would ever start a war over the things that Bush has done so.  So, for the children is one thing - Bush has used our military for purely political reasons and not necessity - in my opinion, that is one of the worst things a president can ever do.

Additionally, this crowd in Washington is the most political bunch I have ever seen - by this I mean, all acts are carried out in the name of politics and not the best policy, and this has been remarked on by numerous people who worked for Bush. 

Kerry might not be the most passionate politician, but he has actually seen the worst in humankind and I believe would not be willing to send anyone any place he would not be willing to go himself; Bush on the other hand has shown the exact opposite - he had his opportunity to serve this country but did everything he could to avoid it.  To me, that shows the true nature of a person.

And don't be one of those who can't see the difference betweens the Dems and the Repubs.  There are HUGE differences, however what is missed is that both parties chase the same addictive things - money and power.
