Let's be clear here Kent, I'm not saying that what Burke's says is not true. All I'm saying is why would they use this system to choose a president?

What would be the benefit and how exactly would they operate this system and who would control it? Isn't Bush overall a better candidate for some greedy worldwide syndicate than John Kerry? Regardless of who has the most blue in their blood? So if someone could control the election in any way, shape, or form...which seems like it could be possible...why bother with the bloodline thing and not just go with the guy who benefits you the most. It would seem Bush would benefit greedy oil barons and industry bigwigs far more than Kerry would...so why would they use bloodlines?

I'm just saying it seems impractical using such an arcane ritual to choose a president. What do you think the structure of such a system would be? How exactly do you think this would work? Can you give me an example? Not just the list of presidents...how do guys like Johnson and Ford fit into that system? They were not elected to the office. Just give me an idea how you see this playing out...I understand the surrounding facts but I find it odd following this all the way back to George Washington and how this would work...it seems like a real longshot and a real giant pain in the ass for whoever had to control it.

Last, I think you said Kerry would never be president because he has someone that was Jewish in his family tree. Burke's seems to disagree with that and the guy picked him to win...do you find that interesting?
