A compelling read, Kent. With an infringement upon basic freedoms virtually unparrallelled in American history, as evidenced by the Bush-Ashcroft Patriot Act, coupled with a military industrial compex whose most reactionary elements have been served by an active intelligence community through the auspices of the CIA and the FBI, the upcoming election is sure to be a watershed in more ways than one. There's no doubt in my mind that Bush and his cronies will do everything in their power to preserve that power. It's going to be an interesting year, to say the least.
