Kevin, I appreciate you wanting to stick up for the Prez but you need to remember Pax Americana and think of this in terms of the Administration. Pax was formulated in '92, and commissioned by the present VP. There have been additional policy formulations along those same lines and supported by many of the same people in this 'Administration' and the State Department and Pentagon.

You need to face the fact that America(in terms of this Administration) has gone off the American reservation. Sure, historically, we assisinate foreign leaders, foment revolutions, hand pick and financially support puppet governments, but we only began preemptive wars with this Administration. At least so blatantly.

The Prez may be a regular guy, but it's hard to imagine what with spending so much time around his Father's White House and Reagans to some extent or other. Is it so hard to imagine Cheney whispering in his ear about "his place in history"?

It isn't for me...evil communications do corrupt good manners, and POWER does turn peoples heads around in other ways(changing their view of what's right and wrong even).

Not that this is gonna change anyones mind. Mines made up too but it's not along party lines. I am interested in the truth. Both sides are lying to us whenever it suits their purposes. Some individuals stay regular people with great success. And some people are never regular people to begin with, they were raised to be elite in a subculture(of the American or World's culture) of the Elite. They view themselves as different from the great mass of humanity, and they are different from most of us here on dbIS. I've seen it up close, you can sense it in there manner, and some will tell you in no uncertain(but polite) terms, if you forget your place. Bush/Kerry are of the Elite and unless someone here at dbIS is also, we are not equal to them and in worldly terms, you are foolin' yourself if you think the Constitution is gonna protect you when push comes to shove with their sort.
