Great songs all, Jeff, but remember...Arlo did not write City of New Orleans...Steve Goodman did. And, if you are not aware of Steve, he was a great singer/songwriter/guitarist extraordinaire, of the late 60's-early 70's era, who died quite young after a heroic battle with leukemia. His last record covers show him, hairless from chemo with a very noticeable Ommaya reservoir port in his scalp. The man had platinum cajones, and a great fucking sense of humor, fabulous lyricist. I'd recommend a song called "Door Number Three" (forget which ablum, but I think it is on Jesse's tunes), a ditty about some geek on a game show, whose whole life depends on whoever/whatever lies behind "door number three". I was very lucky to see him in concert when I was in college. He came on stage just with his acoustic, and proceeded to tear that thing up...ouch could he ever play!! RIP, Steve.
