I'm not going to rehash the evidence against the Swiftboat liars because to me, the evidence is clear and those who ignore it are being disengenous.

But let's discuss something else - did the Dems ever talk about Bush I's rumored affairs?  No.  Or his supposed leaving his two airmen behind to drown while he saved his own butt?  No.  Did they ever talk about Bob Dole's rumored abortion role? No.  How about Bob Dole's tossing of a grenade into a tree and getting his own purple heart for a scratch (that is in his own book).  Or how about Bush Jr's cocaine use?  Or what about the book "Fortunate Son" that details all kinds of rumors about Bush.

Now let's flip it over a bit - look at all the rumors the Repubs spread about Clinton's draft issue - protesting in Moscow.  Or how about the "Clinton Chronicles" where people have accused Clinton of being behind the murder of 80 people. 

If we go back and compare mudslinging, the Repubs are much more adept at it than the Dems (don't forget Cleland and McCain as well).
