Dale - it's a difference in opinion (morals, religious beliefs, reality) - but when I found out that Clinton had, indeed, gotten a blow job from Monica and lied about it I was disappointed but not enraged.  Sure, I was upset that he lied when asked about it...but in the end I didn't think (and still don't) that it was THAT big of a deal.  It was a blow job – it was sex – it was private business between him and his family.  That's how I see it.   Now, obviously you could extrapolate that if he lied about that he could lie about anything.  Maybe that's true.  But in the end, he was impeached because he lied about a beej.

Now onto your comment about giving breaks (or pardons) to people for money.  C'mon Dale.  Do you think the people involved in the Enron collapse - the one's responsible, not the ones who got fucked - are not in jail because they're innocent?  Or is it just a coincidence that a lot of these same people are also big money donors to George.  Do you also think it’s a coincidence that Dick doesn’t want us to know about his dealings with these same people during his crafting of our so-called energy policy?  George is able to side-step the whole pardon for money thing by skipping the part where guilty people get convicted.

If you could pinpoint one issue why you support George I would like to hear it.  If I had to pinpoint one issue to not support him is his administration’s environmental policy.   I don’t want someone who is in a position of power to actually make a change tell me that "conservation may be a sign of personal virtue, but it is not a sufficient basis for a sound, comprehensive energy policy."  But I guess the reverse is basis for drilling for oil in ANWR and going to war with Iraq.

George is not a President – he’s a puppet.  He’s well advised, sure – but that’s by necessity and not by design.
