One other thing...Dan Rather is at the point in his career where this is such a story that would taint his entire career - does anyone really think that Rather would put out a story like this if he can't back it up?

That's the whole point, Eric.  Rather has been a shill his entire career but many of you out there haven't been astute enough to recognize it.
