Green Mtn (view)

I never came across that album until about two years ago. Did you know that one of the brothers went on to enter the ministry? Forget which one. He bought some land in Missouri while they were still touring which he has since turned in to a church sanctioned religious retreat. Plus he still records and performs, but not the old tunes as best I can tell. Pretty interesting story with all the details.

His brothers has a site at Mason Proffit dot somethin.

A lot of their tunes were morality tales from what I've heard. I recommend Strangest Dream if you like a bit of what I suppose could be called southern folk rock.

Listened to it last night after I set up the turntable and while I was organizing the new vinyl. Just added somewhat in excess of 120 titles. Cost $30, they are mint and there were only 3 duplications. Very pleased. Several of them had the original posters. One of the Cat Stevens albums even had one of Cat's original drawings on heavy mat board, which I was previously unaware of.

Anyhow, hope all is well in your world Kevin,

In Jesus,

Will.
