Perhaps the name of the label should have given us all a clue --- LOST HIGHWAY.

Yeah, they were pretty LOST alright . . .

Also, at the show Paula and I were at on June 14th, there was no effort of anything even resembling promotion.

I knew things were deep in the shitter when I contacted a local club to get the band booked into Buffalo for the "tour that never was." After not hearing anything for quite awhile, I finally got in touch with the booking agent, who told me rather bluntly that the NFU were in no way marketable.

The guy even told me that he doubted anyone would show up, so they declined my request.

However, they did keep the two copies of HCTNFU that I sent with the other promotional materials that I received from an angel from devil's country.

So much for "street teaming" it . . .

Our efforts also would have meant a little more if they were appreciated by the very artist who stood to benefit from our actions.

Oh well --- time to find something new to listen to . . .
