"Waters articulated his disdain for the follies of war movingly in the underrated 1983 Floyd album "The Final Cut,"

"Movingly articulated"??? That album (with the exception of the title track and "Not Now John") was a snooze-fest. This should never be considered a "Floyd album". This was a Waters solo album released under the Floyd moniker for the $$$. Richard Wright was long gone, Mason played drums on only a few tracks and Gilmour was nearly non existant.

This album is far too preachy and it's for completists only.
