I did not know this until a friend brought this to my attention.  The above is a case in point, but apparently at many if not all Bush/Cheney rallies/speeches, one might be asked to sign an allegiance declaration to George Bush, before being admitted.  I don't know how widespread this practice is, or if it is only for certain attendees.  In any event, why does it occur at all??   I thought George Bush was a proponent of "freedom", and that this was supposed to be a free country.   So y'mean you can't attend a speech without signing allegiance?   Sounding more like the Third Reich everyday.   And Dale thinks my previous assertations are ridiculous.  Really?

And this bit about voters that will clearly be blocked from voting next election, and not forgetting the recent news about absentee ballots not being available for overseas servicemen and women because access from many overseas servers is being stopped by the Pentagon, so those folks will be unable to register in time for Nov 2nd.  Hmmm...sounding more and more like a monopolistic dictatorship as time goes on, or maybe I am just imagining this whole nightmare.
