Because O'Reilly's ratings for his interview with Bush was higher than CNN, CNBC, MSNBC combined. The rap on Kerry is he has yet to define himself. No one knows where he stands on several important issues.
Love it or hate it, The Factor has a huge audience. By not going on the show may be interpreted as a sign of weakness or fear. If he's afraid of O'Reilly how will he stand up to Iran or North Korea or Al Qaeda.
