1967 University of Iowa student union center in Iowa City. Lovin' Spoonful...John Sebastian, autoharp and all. Kicked off with 'Summer In The City' and I think I was 4-5 rows back in a fairly small venue. It's still on my top ten list of concerts. Went to see John again in 1984 in a small theatre turned nightclub in Soquel, Ca with probably no more than 150 in attendance. Solo show, all acoustic and incredible.
