yeah, Ichiro is in a league of his own. the respect he has for the game (and the tools he uses to play it!) are refreshing as ice water in Hell. ditto Edgar, class act all the way.

don't know if i like the Astros or the Cards, they're both good and the 'stros are HOT right now. Clemens is a nutcase but still brilliant, and i'd like to see Bagwell and Biggio get their rings; Bags'll be retiring pretty soon and he's been great. Jeff Kent, too, a hard case but fierce competitor. him and Bonds were a good tandem in SF but oil and water in the clubhouse.

but it's gonna be tough for the 'stros to get by the Cards, if they make it that far.
