We all have a rare oppurtunity here to share and recieve insights and ideas about music (David's & others), and even some thoughtful political debates. For most of the past few years that I've been visiting the sight the content has been great, and the channels of dialoge have been open and honest.

Dissagrements occure and are usually dealt with in a mature manner but it only takes a few reactionary posts to sour the waters. Intellegent and thought provoking ideas should be welcomed and shared but the "Oh Yeah! Well I think your a ........" crap just wastes everyones time, like rubbernecking at an accident.

The fact that David has been here (let alone knows about it) and engaged us all, some directly, is a totally cool thing.

I can only imagine that based on what I know about Davids passion and talent, the last thing he NEEDS is our two cents. Remember all the great music he did before there was an internet, and our input?

I know I could make no suggestion, or offer my point of view in a way that could "better" his abilities to write songs.

So I will continue to share when I feel the need and listen the rest of the time and hope that when there is some new music out there, by David, I will seek it out. And pay whats asked. That is our only right and responsability as fans.

Everything else is just a bonus chunk of David's time and effort.

I applaud your honesty in realizing what a distraction this type of exchange can be. Do what makes you happy and if its there for us to find and share...Great.
