A friend in the music store showed me the easiest way to defeat the idiotic security tape.

Put your finger nail under the bottom corner hinge and seperate, carefully. Swing the front cover up and over the top. It is now easier to peel off the tape without having to try to get under that stupid tab.

I can't believe the DVDs that have this stupid tape on three sides.
