Is there some sort of urban legend about the Dems winning if the Red Soxes win? Is it cancelled out if the Redskins lose? Me head is spinning from the calculations!Hope no more tragety comes to Boston.Locally, the U of Vermont had riots after the NLCS finale and yesterday after reviewing the video tape the authorities began handing out citations. Heard an even better practice: apparently in Germany after the big soccer matches where the authorities expect some sort of ruckus afterward, the German police employ dye tainted water cannons. The real twist is that the dye doesn't show up immediately. So on the following day when it does show the authorities merely respond to phone snitches, visit the pubs, or the schools etc. Leave it to those Germans to come up with a concise nonviolent solution.Enjoy peaceably Boston
