If only, if only the hummingbird sighed

My eyes are open Kevin, really. I see the good and the bad. I should not have to apologize for leaning toward protecting those who already are in this world over those who have not yet tasted it. Thousands have died in Iraq too. Babies, children, mothers. Terrible things happen to people in this country everyday too. It's a triage kind of world Kevin. We can't save them all. We can't stop it all. We can't make it go away.
Governments can't create legislation to prevent it. Armies can't put an end to it. Mankind quickly and easily doles out revenge, justice, freedom, peace, the American way, with the barrel of a gun. Every time we dropped bombs on cities and towns in this world, hearts stopped beating, voices stopped singing, hands stopped praying, babies stopped crying. Little boys could no longer play with their dogs, little girls stopped holding hands and laughing. Parents stopped being able to pick up their children to squeeze them tight and whisper in their ear how much they loved them. Moms could no longer run their fingers through the soft hair that fell across their little boy's forehead.
Bombs don't discriminate. Somehow it seems you can justify those deaths. You can even criticize me for bringing them up and act as if I'm calling America evil for doing those things. You can sit back in your chair and tell me "We need oil and we should kill for it. Otherwise how will I drive my car or mow my lawn."
"Oh yeah, we're evil! What about Saddam! He killed his own people!" the voices all shout.
It's funny how hard it is to get people to see it your way isn't it? They always want to throw their own curve ball into the mix. You see dead aborted babies and your heart sinks. Why don't the others see what I see? Why don't they care? Why? Why? Why? You ask again and again.
Why do they change the subject and talk about Iraq when there are babies being aborted in this country? Why don't they see that we have to kill thousands of innocent Iraqis so that Iraq can be free? Why don't the Iraqi people thank us for doing all the killing for them? Why don't they understand that we have to kill a lot of them so they can be free? We've got things to do back in the USA! We have to get back to saving babies in our own country and they should be thanking us for bothering to show up and kill them so that those that survive can vote and we can help them distribute their oil! Don't they understand there's a cost for freedom? Don't they understand they have to pay with their blood and that's all we're doing? Aren't 100,000 lives worth being rid of Saddam? He raped women. He killed people. He killed a whole bunch of people at once. He attacked another country. Sure it all happened 20 years ago but we remembered and finally did something didn't we?
Some people came to our country and crashed our planes into our buildings and we were upset and frightened and knew something had to be done. We knew there was a dictator in Iraq too and he was evil. Evil people all associate with each other and mail each other Christmas cards so we knew that evil dictator must have been part of what happened. He was evil after all and he knew we were good and evil people hate good people so action had to be taken. So, that's all we're doing is trying to find all the evil people and get rid of them. Who could be against that?
We are hunting down evil and there is a cost for freedom. We know evil people hate freedom and we have to put a stop to that because we're free so they hate us and if they hate us that means they will harm us. You can't make evil stop hating freedom. Evil will hate freedom till the end of time and God is on the side of freedom not evil haters. And who hates more than evil doers except maybe liberals. They hate our president because he hates evil doers and they don't understand that evil doers must be killed at any cost. Come to think of it liberals also hate babies. They hate babies with a passion. Liberals want to kill babies. Liberals might hate more and want to kill more than the evil doers that hate freedom.
Wait a second...aborted babies that's really the issue isn't it? Babies are being murdered here in our own country. Liberals are killing them. Liberals are killing babies. Liberals are baby killers. Saddam is gone but liberals are still killing babies. Filthy clinics that are hell on earth filled with evil liberal doctors are wiping out babies by the thousands in our country. I have the photos right here to prove it. Look! Look! All of you! This is a dead baby! It's dead because a disease called liberalism killed it! You will all pay for this! When Christ comes he'll judge you and you will be finished! You'll wish you listened then!
He will come and bring his sword and he'll ride his horse through a sea of blood...and you will all be judged!
What? What's that? Oh yes dear, I'm coming. Look, I have to go now because "The Apprentice" is about start on the tv but remember, God is with us when we kill innocent civilians in the name of oil and freedom because an evil dictator did nasty things to a lot of them 20 years ago but what is a true crime against mankind is that liberals are allowing women to abort their pregnancies here in this country. Those innocent babies are not being afforded their rights and it's murder. You'll all go to Hell for it too but before that we'll find some lawyers and judges that support this holy cause and make your life a living Hell. Now I have to go make popcorn, Donald Trump is a riot!
