I'd point out when I thought Kerry made a mistake too if he won. Sadly it looks like that won't happen and if you look at the numbers it looks like Bush has become more popular during his presidency not less. 

Florida was a big surprise for me, I thought Kerry would win that state this time but Bush seems even more popular there than he was when he ran against Gore.

Also Bush beat every indicator that supposedly said he would lose. The big one that shocked me was higher voter turnout was supposed to be bad news but it seems it was Bush supporters that caused the numbers to swell so much. Not only that the Republicans kicked ass all over the country it seems. This election sizes up as a giant and historic failure for the Democrats. The Republicans control the country and will shortly be appointing new judges to the supreme court.
