I paid no attention to the election until late in the evening on Tuesday apart from casting my vote in the afternoon. I hadn't realized that the exit polls were heavy in Kerry's favor but failed to live up to their findings. I'm curious to know what may have caused them to be skewed. Dick Morris, in this article, thinks it's quite likely that there was a concerted effort to boost Kerry's numbers in hopes of influencing the election results by suppressing potential Bush votes. Were any of you surprised at how the early polls compared with what played out later in the evening?
