Congrats to the Bush administration for finally achieving something tangible in the war on terrorism. I must admit, it seemed to me at times like think they wouldn't accomplish a thing. No, I'm not referring to the capture of one silly loon - I mean this master plan:
EPA loosens clean air requirements
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Bush administration relaxed air pollution regulations and proposed other changes Friday to make it easier for older factories, refineries and power plants to modernize without having to install expensive new anti-pollution equipment.
The long-awaited regulatory changes by the Environmental Protection Agency touched off a firestorm of criticism from environmentalists, Democrats and state air quality regulators, and a courtroom challenge from nine Northeastern states affected by power plant pollution.
If the air gets dirty enough, those Saudis won't be able to find any tall buildings, nuke reactors, dams, or historical landmarks to crash into!
