On Dec 30th we lost one of our co-workers in a tragic traffic accident. (Below is a the link to the article - I post it because one stubborn, myopic visitor here once accused me of being a doppelganger of KDB).
http://www.pjstar.com/stories/010505/TRI_B578M5HC.038.shtmlI bring this up because for the last few months I had been meaning to tell this person what she meant to me and how much I admired and respected her and didn't get it done. So in this New Year, if there is someone out there you have been meaning to tell you love, respect or admire and have been putting it off, take the time to get it done.Life is truly fleeting. A few words about this woman. She was a petite, fearless woman in a macho occupation who never shirked from joining any fray. She would constantly volunteer regardless of how far away a call would be and would always show up when not even asked if she thought she might be of any help whatsoever. She had a wonderfully sardonic sense of humor and a kind heart for everyone. So be sure to tell those you care about, you care about them while you can.
