Agree that reaction was over the top.  I mean, why didn't they try talking to the kids first, and try to work through where their anger/hatred is coming from.  A primo opportunity to nip disaster in the bud, especially at that age, when venting frustrations is so important, so things don't well up inside of them and eventually erupt in a potential Columbine-like situation.  Arresting them?    As I recall, Klebold and Harris' parents didn't spend a lot of time putting their arms around their kids and asking them what was on their mind..ever.
