What's all this about Mountain Goats? A love letter in the New Yorker and a feature this morning on NPR. Anyone recommend which album with which to start?Also -- am very engaged with A l'origine, the new album by French producer extraordinaire and contemporary heir to Serge Gainsbourg (and husband of Chiara Mastriano -- daughter of Marcello and Catherine Deneuve). Oh, and Rachid Taha's Teketoi -- a French Moroccan whse music may have inspired "Rock the Casbah."
