I agree with you Dale, unfortunately an inordinate number of Americans do equate Muslims or anyone vaguely middle-eastern in appearance with extremists. After the Sept. 11 attack we had quite a few ignorant, evolutionary rejects running around beating up Sikhs (Sacramento and the surrounding area has a decent Sikh population) screaming at'em for wearing "turbans", driving a truck into a Sikh temple gate, and generally behaving like idiots, without the slightest idea where Sikh immigrants are from or what religion they practice . . . it's these type of people who scare me, along with anyone right, left, conservative, or liberal who would blindly follow leaders without question . . .
