***Dale said: This is exactly the point I was trying to make; the names above are just as hypocritical as RL BUT you don't/won't see it because they (more often than not) tend to speak your language. They're on your side.

Dale I will vote for and support the person who best speaks to what I believe in my heart, party's are for kids. I don't agree with your vague assertion that the group you listed are just as hypocritical. Yes I side with them on many issues, but not as a follower or blind disciple. To me they all usually make good, sound cases for their points. (except Jeneane Garafalo ...she's gone batty)To be sure Moore has used editing (unwisely at times) to make a point, but the facts behind the story remain facts. Franken, from all I have read by him and about him, is smart, passionate and most importantly has watched and commentated on a generations worth of political BS. And damn if he isn't funny while doing it.

When Rush speaks its never a discussion. There is zero discourse. He's a condescending and arrogant load. That as much as anything else is why the man irritates me so. It's as if your local personal spiritual leader claimed to have direct 2 way contact with God himself and then spent his time bragging and gloating rather than bothering to follow the teachings. I think , he who shall not be named, is pious and devoid of moral ground from which to preach. But thats just my opinion. Phew.

Next!

***But the fact you give your guys a pass and slag the other guys may make you appear to be a hypocrite as well.

Nobody gets a "pass". Neither does anybody get to just say whatever version of the truth they want, without someone being allowed to call them on it. I will never claim to be perfect. I am full of hypocrisy in my daily life. We all are. But little ones that keep society from flying apart. We're polite in many situations, when we'd much rather tell someone to "fuck off and die". It makes it much easier but there are core issues and facts that Rush, BO and the President himself have all danced around or played dumb (well 2 out of 3 played dumb).  They not only get a pass, they are paid really well to take every opportunity to split this country into an "us and them" mentality.

I don't have all the facts. But I do my best to get the information and process it.

***I would list examples of their hypocrisy, as you've asked, but would it really matter Roger? Would you accept the examples or would you somehow find a way to justify them?

No why bother.  They would be very hard to find anyway. I mean the really BIG hypocrisies are on the front page of the paper every day.

I'm straying I know.

As far as Felt goes, my sentence reads that what he did was heroic. I will stand by that statement. I did not call him a hero. As to your revelations about the Weather Underground and Civil Rights violation, I don't know about those at all. But I'm sure the moles who dig up the dirt on their foes didn't waste any time scouring the man's record.

As well they should.

I am not intending to pick on you either Dale, at all. In fact the tone around here has been kinda surly lately, and I dint want to add to that (entertaining, but surly)  In the case of He Who Should Not Be Named. (I don't mean Kent either :-)  ) ...I'm confident in describing him as one huge, spiritually ugly, obvious, obnoxious, defective, impacted, and morally challenged asshole.

And thanks for your kind words about the CD cover. I'm glad to know that they have made it.
