That was before Ray was signed to RCA and released the debut. Ray's first three indipendent discs are availible for dowload from a online source. You can also get alot of live shows via B&P or BT sites on his message board. (Which was nailed with a serious virus/hack last week. Slowly the messages are being posted back on.) Look under the "Live Shows..." section in the forum.. I own a ton of stuff. All of it was recieved from the the R.L. messageboard site. The "Lyons Folk Festival" show is breathtaking and I included a track from that show on my Burn Unit CD.
I saw Ray open up for Badly Drawn Boy last year. I'm seeing him headline a show in Tempe next month. The man's voice just soars to levels, not captured on record, live. Go see him, if he's playing in a town near you.
