Oh boy! I think Kevin got the wrong end of the stick there! I was telling him we had our last calf born on Friday night. Our eldest daughter Alyssa (a Tudor history buff) named the heifer (female) calf "Anne Boleyn" after one of Henry VIII's wives. It's an "A' year this year - each calf born has to have a name beginning with A - hence we have Apollo, Artemis, Angel, Aladdin and so on...and an Alyssa and an Ally (after Peter T.'s daughter) - the best 2 girls, of course!
Anyway, I jokingly suggested to Kevin that I thought Anne Boleyn was a good name, as if she didn't make the grade, she'd get her head chopped off (like her namesake). Australian humour... Al would get it!
Alas - we have no guillotine nor the stomach to kill our own babies! I won't even eat our animals- come on - they all have names!!
