Well I can't blame a person for being disappointed with that video--it certainly doesn't measure up to many of the live releases of other bands on DVD that have been flooding the store shelves. However, I really like it.
When it came out, I bought a few extras and mailed them to friends. We've had a nice time reminiscing about The Cars on the phone as a result. I was glad that Ben Orr was healthy enough to appear in the interview--though I'll agree that in typical Cars fashion, that section of the DVD was rough going. (Live interviews never seemed to be The Cars' strong point.)
I enjoy watching the concert--it's small and warm, and nothing like you'd expect from a band that filled arenas for a few years. Plus you get to hear some stuff that isn't on the albums. It's nice. But maybe it's mainly a pleasure for the "megafan" type.
