I liked The Station Agent too. There is also this small film called "Tully" that is pretty good - most of hte characters look like "real" people.

And I agree that Paul Giamatti's acting was wonderful, but he's never bad (and for the longest time I never knew he was the son to the former baseball commissioner). The flick just didn't hit me like I thought it would and after seeing "In Good Company" I thought it was a better flick than "Sideways"....
