I'm guessing, Marc, we'll get a story like Mossad tapped into what was going to happen before anyone else. Mossad, from what I understand, has the most accurate human intelligence of all the agencies out there. So it is possible they knew first...I guess they often do. If I remember correctly they had issued severe warnings to us prior to 9/11 letting us know an attack was imminent...and I think even described the attack. The Israelis have long been deeply involved with terrorist networks and have spent much more time developing assets in that area...so they are ahead of us in that regard. So is MI5/MI6 as they too have much more history dealing with terrorists than our own agencies...in fact I believe we've relied heavily on these two agencies over the years. This makes the London bombing even more unusual because British intel is pretty on the ball with this stuff and for them to say they didn't even get a whiff of it is quite strange indeed. We at least had several warnings prior to 9/11.
