What really bothers me about this is how the biggest issue is being overlooked. Regardless of being a Democrat or Republican - what is at the basis of the story is this -A group of idealogues and politicians tried to smear and intimidate a person for attempting to reveal the truth. And the reason done was not about nobility or honor, but to protect their asses when starting a war with lies, deceptions and manipulation. And the method used was dispiciable and those involved should be indicted, jailed and if needed impeached. (But what really gets me is that it looks like those involved are the sort of people who have never sacrificed or put their asses on the line for this country a single day in their life. That they have sucked at the marrow and good deeds of those who have.)
