The PD is a republican leaning paper - always has been. Their endorsement for president last year was pulled at the last minute after the publisher overruled the editorial board's pick of Kerry. The board revolted and went public, and the result was no endorsement. I really think this is grandstanding on the publisher's part. Considering the reporters in question (Miller/Cooper) are covering up a crime, as opposed to revealing a crtime, I have no sympathy for their position.
