Boston (The band)- Live at Alpine Valley in Troy Wisc.
It was possibly the least imaginative live musical performance I have ever experienced.....Ever!!
Touring behind Third Stage, they play that album in whole, in order, and then proceeded to play some of their hits.
The major problem was that it sounded EXACTLY like the album. Every vocal signature and musical solo was an exact duplicate of the studio version. I can't even say for sure that they were actually playing live that night. Quite the letdown. My 22 year old self was ready to Hitch a Ride, with a Smokin' Rock n' Roll Band. I had More Than a Feeling of being cheated.
When it was over I told myself Don't Look Back you won't be Feelin' Satisfied.
