I haven't seen very many films this summer but the one I was most anticipating has arrived and features something far better than all the explosions, computer graphics, light sabers and super heros that we are presented with when the weather heats up...the one and only Bill Murray.

It also does not hurt that he's teamed up with Jim Jarmusch in a film written specifically for Mr. Murray. It's interesting how these various directors keep coming up with films intended for him. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou was one of my favorite films of last year and Murray seems to be on quite a roll. The guy has always made me laugh going back to his SNL and Caddyshack days but it seems he's taken a much more subtle turn in his work these days. Despite not being so over the top he fills the screen and lures you in like few actors can. Check out Broken Flowers if you get a chance. It's well worth the trip to the theatre.
